Adrift Hotel

I mainky picked this hotel nexause i wanted ine with a pool and sauna in irder to enjoy that in the winter weather. I jad not quiet realized that the pool is covered from the rain but open on one-two sides. You do walk a few steps in the rain if its raining, (it was) to get to the barrel saunas but i found that sort of part if the sauna experience. First time using a barrel sauna and I loved it. I had to turn it on myself ahead of time but by the time i did a little swimming, the sauna was warm enough. I went in the early evening just beginning to get dark and it was a stormy might but the pool was just warm enough for me and not too hot. Theres another hotel in town which akso has a pool but I've never been and can't compare. I loved being able to walk right out to the beach or to the dune trail I also came here because if it being "dog friendly". The vinyl, no carpet floors were most appreciated- easier to keep clean. I had a single 2nd floor room. Was worried about my dog dealing with an elevator which did scare her a little, but found there was also a convenient stair directly outside as well. I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant upstairs but was glad of the coffee bar in the lobby. I did have to ask for help when i couldn't get the TV to work but someone from the front desk came quickly and did a reset, which worked. I liked the rustic decor throughout the hotel with rough wood and metal and light fixtures that reminded me of boathouse or cabin. It was not very bright for reading at night so i would bring a tiny light for that. But great big window brought in good daylight. Being mid winter was probably part of how quiet is seemed but the hotel is also set back from the main road and with trees behind it. Anyway I really appreciated my quiet room. All I heard was the ocean and the rain.

Took a quick overnight trip with my dog this last Tuesday. We stayed in the most perfect room with a beautiful view of the ocean. Adrift is seconds away from all the shopping and dining you could ask for! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The hotel was quiet and peaceful. We just had a wonderful time. A month prior, I came with my best friend and used the pool (even though it was freezing out) and spa services. Best massage and facial I ever had! Another beautiful room as well! Top-notch hospitality! So affordable! See for yourself!

We LOVE this place. Absolutely hands down the best hotels in Long Beach, we've been here at least 10 times between the Adrift, the Inn and the boardwalk cottages. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, but what really makes this place 5 ⭐ is the employees. They are always friendly and accommodating, if something does go wrong (which rarely happens) they are quick to address it!! We will always choose to stay here!

Quaint, cozy room that was dog friendly. Not too far from the beach. The coffee pods were good quality the electric tea kettle was fast. We did not run out of hot water even with jacuzzi tub. The little rubber duckies were a nice touch.

This hotel provides such a fun beach getaway. It's close to the beach and to town, and has nice amenities like a pool, saunas, and restaurant. There is free coffee for guests in the lobby. We got a bunk suite and my teens loved the extra space.

We come here almost every year to make more family memories :) been coming here since 2016 and now married and with kids we take them here almost every year. Love the location, the pool and sauna is fantastic, we love using the bikes to explore the dune trail and our kids love seeing all the dogs that stay here. The people who work here are great and pickled fish is delicious!

Excellent times, better than expected! Staying here feels fresh & luxurious, it’s obvious they’re actively putting effort & resources into all their properties scattered around the coast. Upstairs restaurant was delicious & felt swanky, heated pool was warm enough, massage was fantastic, barrel saunas were just right. Everything was a perfect balance of well thought-out and not overdone. Staff was friendly without exception. Only minor complaint was they didn’t see the door sign I put out to “tidy up” the room - but not a big deal. Will definitely stay with them again.

Absolutely love this place!! The beach accessibility is amazing as well as their industrial style. I love the pool and saunas. The fire pit just adds to the ambience. I’ve stayed here 2 times now haven’t gotten a chance to use their message services yet, or go to their free wine tastings .. but it’s on my list for my next stay!
